If you are interested in college credits for your flight training or are a veteran and would like to use your GI bill to pay for your private pilot Certificate, please contact the aviation department at CCBC for help.


All non-US citizen foreign nationals must register with TSA prior to commencing flight training.

DC/SFRA Training

All pilots flying within 60 NM of Washington DC must complete the FAA DC/SFRA training course.


If you would like to fly through the Hudson River VFR flight corridor, you must complete the NY/SFRA training course.

FAA MedXPress

The FAA MedXPress system allows those in need of an FAA Medical Certificate or Student Pilot Medical Certificate to complete the required form electronically. Their Information is then transmitted to the FAA and made available for their Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) to review at the time of their medical examination.


Integrated Airman Certification and Rating Application (IACRA) is an online tool to assist users through the FAA's airman application process.

NOAA Aviation Weather Service

NOAA's Aviation Weather Center provides accurate, up to date weather information pertaining to the world's airspace.


Direct User Access Terminal Service (DUATS) is a weather information and flight plan processing service contracted by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for use by United States civil pilots and other authorized users.
